The night finally arrived - we attended the Sabbat Gala, I as the +1 for Carlo and the neonates as random attendees. It was an altogether wonderful experience; there were beautiful sculptures and confectionaries made from the now-departed physical forms of former Camarilla vampires. The main act of the event, the play titled The Passion of the Dark Father, was an incredibly enjoyable experience that managed to blend several themes almost seamlessly - I learned a great deal about the founding myth and beliefs of the Sabbat on this night.
Tragically, the event was not exclusively positive. I detected, using my refined eye and skill in necromancy, that the local Sabbat was practicing the dark art itself without permission from the Family. As far as I could tell, there was at least one necromancer at the event, and they were a mysterious hooded figure in the entourage of Cardinal Ambrosio L. Moncada. I will have to investigate this further, and punish the necromancer for their unsanctioned practice of the art - and discover how they’d learned it.
Zachary put on some sort of strange religious performance and had a shared vision in front of everyone, and there was some kind of red star which seemed to be of some religious importance to the Sabbat. I partook in a bizarre ritual known as the vinculum, and I am not partially bound to several high-ranking members of the Sabbat, which I have certain plans for. I also obtained blackmail on the one called Sascha Vykos, who lied about killing the neonates after being assigned to and began working with them who had been branded heretics. I spoke with Carlo about this, and explained to him the potential advantages of the situation - after I diablerize Seven I will learn blood magic that will allow me to track these individuals without necromancy, something which is now potentially fallible. Even if this is not the case, I will make this an advantage… I am now personally close to the Archbishop of Baltimore and other important figures.

After having picked up Benjamin from the embassy, we all met at some sort of family restaurant in the world of kine (something along the lines of Dionysus? I didn’t realize the mortals still worshipped ancient death gods). Zachariah had communicated to me the forewarning he’d received about showing the Sabbat the “truth” when he was still in the embassy. I discovered from Cedric that Prentiss’s first name was Marie, and that her haven was in Gallaudet. I also learned that Sascha Vykos was a founding member of the Sabbat, many hundreds of years old, which potentially complicates certain plans I’d had. After speaking at this eatery, we moved to the farm of one called Frieda, who was connected to Tala through her sisterhood. I spent the night in the car.
