Jinx’s continued confidences were never found. She left for the Georgetown Elysium at the Smithsonian National Zoo when it was attacked. Jinx did not return to the Armandasanti manor before it was attacked or the journals taken away. A Legion of the Sword of Caine attacked the compound where the journal was housed. All ghouls were killed. Following the attack, the Sabbat warriors pressed their advantage and moved to their next targets, leaving the Armandasanti manor unguarded. The Nosferatu Operative H.B. Kershaw arrived at the scene just at that time and did a recon mission throughout the compound, finding security tapes and the journal. The operative took photos of the journal and brought it with him. Kershaw delivered the words above and the previous journals to his superiors in the Undercity.
